A Summer in the Spirit and Rhythm of French-Canadian Living Heritage!

Camp Tilo is a French-language summer day camp dedicated to exploring and celebrating French-Canadian living heritage. Designed for children aged 8 to 11, these five-day camps run Monday to Friday between July 13th and 24th, 2026. Throughout the week, children will take part in workshops led by passionate instructors who will introduce them to the steps and formations of traditional French-Canadian dance and music.

Each week the camp will wrap up with a special performance on Friday afternoon, where families are invited to come and cheer on the young dancers. This festive event offers the children an unforgettable experience and helps foster a sense of pride and belonging in Saskatchewan's rich French-Canadian cultural traditions.

Meet the Camp Tilo 2026 Team

J'Lynn — Coordinator and Instructor

I have worked for the Société historique for over two years as the event coordinator. I love everything to do with movement, especially dance and sports. I have Ukrainian danced since the age of 4 and also instruct the Klenovee Lystky group in Ituna. I am very excited to share the joy of dancing among friends with your children during the camps!

Quinn — Instructor

I am an archivist at the Société historique de la Saskatchewan and have learnt a great deal about French-Canadian dance from our elders Michel Vézina and Guy Verrette. This enables me to regularly run introductory workshops on French-Canadian dance in schools across Saskatchewan.
