EMPLOYMENT - National Special Project Officer
Responsibilities
- Research and gather all information and data relevant to the development of the Francophone and Anglophone minority heritage sector.
- Perform research
- contact people
- Animate simple activities with partners
- Create databases
- Develop digital tools and mechanisms encouraging the sharing of knowledge and tools to a community of practice.
- Develop a simple website
- Set up digital spaces for conversation
- Set up digital spaces for data sharing
- Support the organization of the group's first annual general meeting.
- Contribute to the reflections and drafting of the regulations and policies of the Network for the Development of Volunteer Engagement and of the partners and the community of practice.
- Ensure sound administrative and operational management of assigned projects.
Academic requirements and professional experiences
- Respond favorably to the conditions of the Young Canada Works program.
- Have an undergraduate post-secondary degree.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination record.
- Up-to-date criminal history file for vulnerable persons.
Required skills
- Good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Know how to carry out searches, databases, and result reports.
- Write professional texts and messages.
- Organized and meticulous.
- Communicative and collaborative.
- Dynamic and taking initiative.
- Exercise judgment and know-how to manage priorities.
Condition of work
- Entry into office: May 2022
- Salary scale: starting at $18.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- Duration of employment: 4-month contract position until no later than September 30, 2022, with the possibility of renewal.
- Workplace: Teleworking with the possibility of positioning in an office of a member of the network.
- Conditional JCT benefit: Transportation coverage.
